They say, 'The Entertainment Makes the Wedding' and Since 1980, "2 Hot Cats" has "made" over 1200 weddings, club dates and "Vegas-style" shows around the country. We provide an entire entertainment package to please the pickiest party planners. Today, many brides know that a LIVE Band is great entertainment but they sometimes go for a "DJ" because "Live" Bands cannot reproduce the original tracks of their favorite / latest dance mixes. Dear Danny,
In 1999, I first heard you sing at the East Orange Country club located in Short Hills, New Jersey and I thought to myself “ I would love to have him perform at my wedding one day.” I approached you at one of your gigs and you gave me your contact information.

I often heard you sing years after but I needed a good man to marry to have a wedding. When I finally met my soul mate and became engaged I called you right away to see what days you would be available so I could set a wedding date to have you sing.

I want to thank you for singing at my wedding, on November 15, 2003. Through my wedding plans you were very helpful and very informative. You spent much time with me on the phone before my wedding and often I had to cut you short because you gave 150% …maybe I should have…. lol.

Many of my family and friends commented on your performance and great voice. You were blessed with a voice that sounds much like Tony Bennett. Please keep in touch and I will keep you in mind for future events.

Dan,

I want to thank you again for helping to make my daughter’s wedding a tremendous success. In my opinion, key ingredients to a successful wedding are great food and lively music. My former wife and I looked at a number of ideas to address the music element, with the obvious start of choosing between live music versus a disc jockey format.

After weighing a number of concerns that included class/style/expense, I suggested that my daughter Jennifer and her fiancé come down from Boston to see your show at a neighborhood restaurant. By the end of the evening, we agreed that you would be the perfect solution to our music dilemma. Our main question was whether you would be willing to travel to Boston to perform at her wedding.

From a business perspective, you responded quickly and efficiently to our questions. The travel issue turned out to be a non-issue. Once we finalized the contract, the process you use to gather music related information for the wedding party worked very well. Your attention to detail, right down to questions about travel time to Boston showed your concern to provide the best service to your clients. Your experience with other weddings was reflected by the comments you made to ensure that the music portion of the day went smoothly.

From performance / musicianship perspective you were wonderful. Your wide variety of music was well received and the number of compliments we received from our guests satisfied me that we had made the right choice. From my position, it was fun to tell my guests that we brought “the band” in from New Jersey. I would not hesitate to engage your services for any kind of event where there is a requirement for music. Your music style is very unique and your professionalism is unquestionable.

musicians for a "Big" Wedding?

      The short answer is, "absolutely!" We have played to crowds in the thousands. 2HotCats pumps out plenty of "Big Sound" for any size party using state-of-the-art DJ, Keyboard and sound equipment. The band sounds crisp, clean, and full while the DJ mixes sound like the best clubs you've been to.

Do you want more musicians on stage? We can handle that too. Although we don't think you need to spend more money on more musicians, we realize that some couples would just like to see more musicians on stage. In this case we have the availability of several other talented musicians who are rehearsed and ready to perform with us for your party.

They include: Sax, trumpet, Guitar and Female Vocals.

Why should you pay up to $1000 for an agent?

      If you thought all this sounded good so far, here's the best part. Did you know that when you hire one of those bands / DJ's from an agency like "joe blow orchestras" or "MEGA Entertainment," you end up spending as much as $1000 or MORE just to pay the agent. That's why bands and even a pair of DJ's are so expensive today. If you wanted both you'd have to pay double!!

2HotCats is independent of any agent or representative and so there are no hidden or extra costs passed on to you. Even with the extra musicians added to our group you still save money.

Once the form is submitted you will receive a copy via eMail and we will get a copy too.

Using the form as a guideline, Danny Heise (not an agent or sales rep.) will personally contact you, the bride, to plan, organize and personalize your entire ceremony, cocktail hour and reception music and activities, several months prior to "the big day."

The "interactive" form will actually suggest a wide variety of popular songs for all the special dances of the evening. Not just the older traditional tunes of the past.

Do you want the Entertainment to be fun and interactive, or do you prefer a more "Performance Oriented" Style?

Danny and Mike have the "seasoned experience" to feel out the crowd and play just what they want, so you "COULD" leave all the non-planned music decisions up to them - leaving you to choose only the music for the dances, i.e.., Bride with Dad, Groom with Mom, etc...

A NOTE ON REQUESTING SONGS...

Our goal is to mix the music, so that we keep a steady flow and variety of dancing for all ages so we suggest that you request songs (performed or DJ'd) which are most important for you to hear and to dance to, but not to try to plan the entire event's music.

A successful event involves a well timed, balanced blend of tunes and dances. We can make sure the continuity of the music is perfect but if you request 50 country tunes or hip-hop songs or Love Songs for that matter, then we will be unable to keep the music balanced.


Do you need music at your Wedding Ceremony

If you are getting married at the same location as the reception, you will be glad to know that because we are wedding specialists, we have a tremendous amount of experience with providing music for wedding ceremonies. This includes music while your guests are being seated, selections for parents to be seated and processional & recessional music. If you have a soloist, we are happy to play their instrumental recording to accompany their vocals. Portable PA systems are available if your ceremony is located away from the main reception area. A note about things you DO NOT want at your wedding!

Some Brides don't want to hear, 'Hi, Ho the Cherry-Oh the Bride Cuts the Cake' or 'The Macarena.'  It's up to you, but remember, weddings are all about memories. The Wedding photos are your memories of a great and grand event in your life, of family carrying on and dancing all together on the dance floor to celebrate you as a couple. Many songs are designed to get crowds dancing together and that's a great reason to do line dances and the traditional "Bride Cuts the Cake."

The important thing to remember is that, by planning all aspects of your reception well in advance, 2HotCats will be able to perform in a smooth and professional manner and you will be able to enjoy your reception, knowing that the details you have planned will be carried out flawlessly.
